Aion: Legions of War – Ultimate Tips and Cheats Guide

Aion: Legions of War is a new mobile action RPG that plays out of the same universe as the popular MMORPG Aion. Your goal is to build up a strong party of heroes, collect items, and complete all kinds of quests. You can load up on all kinds of fun rewards, mix it up against enemies, and tailor your battle strategy to fit your exact needs against increasingly tougher bosses and enemies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Aion: Legions of War!

Unlike most games in the action RPG genre, most of this one is played automatically, even if you have auto-fight mode shut off. If manual fight mode is on, the characters still attack on their own, but you control when each skill it used. So if you have this kind of setup, study your special skills so that you know exactly what the right situations are for using them. The rest of the battle can be managed behind the scenes (despite being automatic) by choosing from All-Out Attack (fastest against easy battles), Try To Survive (best for surviving tougher battles), and Focus (best against boss fights and best all around). The effects as follows are:
All-Out Attack: increase in damage dealt, and divine skills are cast in the order of Ranged, Melee, Defense, Support.
Try To Survive: focus on defense and evasion, divine skills are cast in the order of Support, Defense, Melee, Ranged (healing counts as support)
Focus: Your SP builds up quicker, interruption attacks are first priority, divine skills are cast in order of: Melee, Ranged, Defense, Support

Beyond that, you can get a huge advantage or disadvantage depending on how you manage your team. Go for elemental advantages (such as water beating fire) and counter heroes. If a major enemy has a counter hero, they will be listed before the fight, so add that hero to your party. Put a healer, a tank, a ranged person and a melee person in your party, at minimum. The fifth option can vary depending on your strategy, but if you have two good healers, you’ll almost never lose.

It’s easy enough to go through nothing but the primary quests for awhile, but play the side quests for some larger rewards. They tend to be a bit tougher, but the rewards are higher correspondingly. Also, whenever you unlock the mine that you can collect gold from, dungeons, etc, take part in those activities for even more extra rewards and gems.

You can do two types of summons: gem summons and non-gem summons. For the gem summons, it’s best to hold onto the gems until you can do the 10x gem summon, as your rewards, rarity tiers, etc, are far better than doing the single gem summons. For the non-gem summons, though, you don’t need to wait. Just do them whenever you want to.

You can get heroes of up to six stars in this game. You can enhance, awaken, evolve, and transcend your heroes. Enhance is simply leveling up. Evolving and awakening take a whole lot of resources to pull off, so it’s best to save your advancement materials for your rarer heroes (and your favorites in general) and use them for said rare heroes. Don’t waste the good stuff on one-star and two-star heroes.
