Alpaca Evolution is a massively bizarre new game that can best be described as an evil version of Cow Clicker, sort of. You’re Alpaca Zero, a magical alpaca that for no coherent reason has been given the power to absorb other Alpacas in order to increase its own power. Your goal is to simply gain experience levels until you transform from what looks like an ordinary alpaca to some massively evil-looking 90s RPG final boss-esque powerhouse. Read on for some tips and tricks for Alpaca Evolution!
It takes time for the alpacas to reappear after you absorb all of them. Normally it takes about 30 seconds per alpaca or so, and about ten of them can be on the screen at the same time. However, you can skip over this by going to the date and time settings on your phone so that they are about five minutes ahead. Then go back to the game and tap all of the alpacas again. You can do this as many times as you want to bring back the alpacas instantly.
The only problem with doing that, though, is that when you set the time back to normal, the alpaca refill time will then take 30 seconds per alpaca plus however much time you cheated off – so if you set the time ahead by half an hour, that is how much time it will take for the first alpaca to reappear. Skip this by absorbing all of the alpacas after, not before, you set the time back to normal, and they will come back at a normal pace.
The one piece of this game that is in English is the Alpaca profile, which is in the “star” menu. Tap it to check out the profile of your current level Alpaca, plus every one of them that you have previously unlocked. The rest of the menus are in Japanese and are not necessary to the playing of this game.
If you don’t want to mess with the time, then the best time to play is when you get a spare 10-15 seconds to yourself. You can accomplish all that you need to in that little bit of time. It’s very repetitive but that is part of the magic. The repetition is almost zen-like in a way.
Too impatient to find out what all of the alpacas look like? Start googling around to find all forms of alpacas, as their pictures are all on the internet. If you want to shut the ads off on the game, then play the game in airplane mode or with the data off.
