AR Basketball is a new game for the iOS platform that is designed to take advantage of iOS 11’s new Augmented Reality technology. ARKit is used to place a virtual basketball hoop somewhere on real-life surfaces, and then the challenge is to score as many points as you can in multiple game modes. Read on for some tips and tricks for AR Basketball!
When you’re playing in normal mode, the game is very easy to do if you’re in standard surface mode, as the hoop will be large. Simply find a place to hold your phone, find an angle to shoot from, and hammer that shot. Desktop mode is tougher as the hoop is smaller, so it will be harder to score points from. You might have to sit a little closer to the virtual basket.
Time attack mode is fairly similar in premise. You can either choose from desktop mode or from real life mode, where you place the hoop on a floor. The difference in this mode is that you have to shoot as many baskets as possible within a one-minute time span. The bonuses are the same, such as the flaming ball bonus, you just have to shoot as many as you can within one minute.
Around the world is a completely different mode. There is no desktop mode for this, so you’ll have to mount the hoop somewhere on the floor, and you’ll have to have a lot of walking space. Go to the circle that the game designates (you’ll have to physically go there). Your goal here, like in the normal mode, is to get the highest score that you possibly can.
HORSE mode is one that’s meant to be played in a strictly multiplayer mode. First, you pick how many players you have. Then, one player takes the shot. If that player makes the shot, then the next player has to take a shot from the same area, and so on and so forth. The winner, obviously, is the last one not to have all five letters.
You can get rid of the ads by purchasing a two dollar in-app purchase in order to get rid of the advertisements. Another way to do so is to turn off the data to your device, whether it be wifi or cellular data or both.
