Arrow Matrix is a new puzzle game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to shoot arrows into one large orb in the middle of the screen. The game starts off easy, but then gets really hard after playing through a small number of stages, and continues to get harder after that. You end up with more arrows to shoot and with more curveballs thrown at you by the erratic movements of the orb. Read on for some tips and tricks for Arrow Matrix!
Early on in the levels, you’ll get to the point where it seems you have more arrows to shoot than you do spaces to fill. Practice shooting one arrow right after the other in order to fill spaces as tightly as possible. You’ll fail while practicing this, unless you’ve played “aa” often, but do this until you can fit arrows tightly next to one another and you’ll be able to beat levels easily.
At a certain point in the game the orb will start changing speeds. When this happens, your best bet is to wait for the slower speed to hit and then fit arrows close to each other. If you need to restart a level, then remember when the slow points hit, because they will hit at the exact same spot each time that you play the same level.
Ads will pop up frequently in the game, but there is a way to get rid of them easily. All that you have to do is shut off the data to your device, or switch it into airplane mode while you play. Alternatively, you can make a small in-app purchase and get rid of them. If you delete the game and then restore it later, you’ll be able to restore in-app purchases for free.
New levels get added every week, so it’s unlikely that you’ll end up beating the game. If you do beat the game, then wait for a week or two until the next update, and when the next update hits, update the game via the App Store or whatever Android app downloader you use, and you’ll be able to download new levels with each update to the game.
If you lose at a level, and you have some sort of data connection to the game, then you’ll be able to watch a video in order to skip the level. This provides a temporary short-term victory, but the next level will likely be harder, so there’s not a whole lot of point in skipping the level.
