Art Inc.: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

Art Inc. is a new idle game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to go to auctions to buy art, display it in your museum, and make as much money as possible from your visitors. You can earn coins and gems, hit the auctions, and expand your collection.

You also have to solve the mystery of the Silver Fox, the stylish thief who broke into your museum, burnt it down, and stole your paints, and to re-acquire what he stole from you.

Your main method of making more money is, of course, to upgrade your paintings, so be sure to upgrade them right away after you buy them. Focus more on the higher-value ones than the lower-value ones in general, though.

However, when it comes to making money, don’t forget about the Ticket Boost and Gift Shop Boost upgrades in your far-left menu. Buy these to make more money from your ticket seller and from the gift shop in your museum. They collect slowly, but when they max out, they can be worth a LOT of coins.

You can earn free gems in your museum, as well. These are the premium currency of the game, so the way to earn the most of them is through an in-app purchase, but for free ones, scroll all the way to the right side of the museum, to the room with the well in it, and collect them from the well. You can earn 10 gems from the well every four hours.

You can get up to ten of them from the well at a time, and while that might not seem like a lot, ten gems collected as soon as you get the chance, multiple times, adds up to quite a bit. You can buy quite a few premium purchases this way, without actually having to spend the money.

Tap on the hammer icon to go to one of the auctions. Before you even think about bidding, you have to make sure that you bid on the correct item. Bid on the wrong one and the money is gone, and you have nothing to show for it, unless you spend gems on buying more coins.

So look over each painting very thoroughly to make sure. If you do buy the wrong one though, you can also watch an ad video or spend gems to reverse the purchase. Look at EVERY little detail.

Tap on the icon with the little guy in it to see your whole collection of characters, but tap on the Recruitment button at the top of the screen. You get a free common character every two hours or so, while a rare four, five, or six-star character costs 75 gems.

You can also buy decorations, but they serve no practical purpose in the game, so there is no need to spend your money on them. All that they do is change the look of your museum – which it need anyways if it is how it is when you started, with the beginning decorations.

Some decorations cost bucks, rather than coins or gems. Bucks are the rarest out of all of them, yet you can’t buy them with an in-app purchase. They’re the rarest currency in the game, and they can only be earned by inviting your friends to play the game via Facebook. Every third friend who takes you invite will earn more bucks.

Watch the video offer at the top right corner of the screen for a free x2 coin boost for one hour at a time.

Don’t be afraid to boot low-earning paintings and sculptures off of the display. The more stuff you buy at auction, the more likely it is that you will find high-profit items, so when you do, put them up on the display, and if you can’t afford a museum expansion, get rid of the low-earners to make room for the high-earners.
