Ayakashi: Ghost Guild is a new card battling RPG by Zynga Japan, following hot on the heels of Montopia as the duo of entrants into the ever-growing card battling genre for the iOS and Android platforms. Read on for some tips and tricks for Ayakashi: Ghost Guild!

As you go through the game, you will get to choose to make your party out of characters who don’t require many spirit points, and characters who do require a lot of spirit points. For battle purposes, the character who requires the most spirit points (and thus, has the highest attack and defense) should be your leader card, both because they will usually be the rarest card in your party, and because enhancing them via fusion will have the most effect.

To amplify the effect that a fusion has, your base card and your mixer card should be the same type – for example, if your base card is an anima, the fusion card should also be an anima, or if the base card is a phantom, the fusion should be a phantom. Doing this will greatly increase the experience points that your base card receives per mixer.

Each time that you gain a level, finish an area, or add a crew member, you get ability points. Instead of letting the game automatically decide how to allocate them allocate them yourself and use most of them to increase attack and defense spirit, leaving the health largely the same until it becomes difficult to get through a quest without having to pause constantly due to running out of health. At that point, then catch health up, but get the defense and offense advantage early on.

Also, early on, especially when you get a rare card, change your leader card by going to the Daemons tab and tapping on the profile of the card that you want to make the leader, and making them the leader.
