Bacon’s Revenge – Weapon Prayer Guide and How To Get Mythic, Legendary, and Epic Weapons

Bacon’s Revenge, also known previously as Backpack Piggy, is a hit game for the iOS and Android platforms where you play as a pig who unleashes a nearly endless amount of weapons against slimes, and you can fill your backpack with weapons and upgrade them, earn gold coins and gems and other goodies, while opening chests and using weapon prayers to unlock rarer and more powerful weapons. You can even unlock more and more advanced challenges as you make your way farther into the game.

The weapon prayer not only allows you to get upgrades for the weapons that you already have, but it allows you to earn new weapons, especially epic, legendary, and mythic weapons. These rarer tiers of weapons are generally far more effective than their common counterparts, for the most part.

Continue reading for a guide to the weapons prayer, how to upgrade your weapons, and how to get epic, legendary, and mythic weapons in Bacon’s Revenge!

At first, the weapon prayer is a rather confusing system, but the way it works is actually fairly simple. Spend 100 golden coins, and you will spin for one of three weapon choices. You will earn weapon shards and weapons themselves, if it lands on a weapon that you don’t already have.

If you want to spend again on the same set of three weapons, then you can pay diamonds in order to do so. If you want to only spend gold coins and want to reset the choice of three weapons, then hit the button that says “give up” to spin on a new set of three. Reset the list of three weapons either if you want a better chance at a legendary or mythic weapon, or if you want to spend a large stash of golden coins and simply want to go for random weapon shards again.

If the prayer lands on a weapon that you already have, then it will give you weapon shards, which can then be used to upgrade it that weapon. Each upgrade levels up the weapon and increases the amount of damage that it does.

Are legendary and mythic weapons and skills automatically better than the common and epic ones that you earn? No, not necessarily, but in most cases, they are. It simply requires trial and error to know which ones are the best and which ones are not necessarily so.

If you are going to re-spin on the same set of three weapons, then be sure that you absolutely have a lot of diamonds saved, because spinning a second and third time is very expensive. Additionally, you’re not likely to get the top prize until the third spin, rarely the second, almost never the first.
