Base Busters – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Base Busters is a unique new tower attack/defense game by Nexon M, better known as the subsidiary of the company that put Maple Story on the map. In this game, your goal is to put together a brigade of tanks and roll through enemy territory, destroying buildings and avoiding getting destroyed yourself as you go along, sort of like Royal Revolt 2. Plus, you can set up your base to your own liking and try to stifle other players as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Base Busters!

There are two ways to upgrade your main three vehicles. One of them is to use the fusion technique, which lets you sacrifice any vehicle that you want (up to four of them) in order to upgrade it. This will increase its experience level, thus increasing its attack and health as well. This, of course, costs steel to pull off.

The other is evolution. In order to upgrade via evolution you need to have two identical vehicles, and you need to have far more steel. This boost their stats AND resets the experience level down to one. So an evolution followed by a fusion is an excellent way to cause the stats of your tank to skyrocket.

Use your tanks’ special techniques as often as possible in battle. You can use them every time your energy bar fills all the way to the top. The only exception to using them all the time is when you are taking heavy damage; in this case, use your shield by tapping on the tank twice to activate it. Or if you don’t feel like aiming (or your special attacks just suck), use this, too.

Consider also, when building your tank party, how effective the special attacks are against multiple targets at a time (this makes battles far easier). For those that aren’t worth keeping in your main party, put them all over your base so that they can attack when players try to attack you, and hide them behind walls so that they take a bit less damage. Use fusion and evolution to keep your defense tanks upgraded to keep your steel from getting stolen too easily.

When collecting rewards for your challenges, check every tab. Be sure to check the tabs with the exclamation point next to them as these are the ones where there is a bounty to claim. Check the challenges that have not been completed yet for an idea of where to go and what to do next.
