There are a number of different fights that you can engage in. Normal quest fights will usually pit you against a medium to large batch of common gangsters and other villains, and your goal is to beat all of them before they beat you. Oftentimes, you will get ambushed after a battle by a supervillain, or an “assassin”. These battles will cost you zero stamina, but they will be far more difficult to beat than the normal battles.

Ranked battles are battles which will have the potential to earn you large bonuses depending on how many stars you earn. You can earn between one and five stars per battle. Stars are earned from such things as blocking attacks (both regular and enraged), maintaining a high power level, and how many combos you land. Timed battles are limited-time fights against (usually) supervillains, which you have to beat before the time runs out. Usually, you have 24 hours to beat them before you are done.

Finally, you have the final assassin battles for each area. You have four areas, which are the uptown, docks, downtown and the industrial district, each of which provides tougher and tougher battles to you. If you want to go to the next area, beat the assassin. The uptown area claims Deadshot as the assassin, while downtown lays claim to Copperhead, and the industrial district puts you up against the Elector

Each boss has their own strategy, which can allow you to prepare your defense to counteract their offense. Most of them will have their own special moves that you need to block in order to negate (and even return some of the damage back). Combine a strong defense, a revenge-taking offense and then special moves, and you’ll be good to go. Block, use the heatlh power ups and ATTACK!

You can login with Facebook to see where you are in relation to your friends, plus you can also log in via WBID in order to earn new bonuses, such as batsuits that can’t normally afford to buy.

That’s about it for Batman: Arkham Origins! Enjoy the game!
