You can also add oil to your lifts to increase the amount of a material that they bring in per job.

Join a corporation as soon as you can, or if you want to spend the gold to do so, you can found your own corporation for a price of 350 gold. You and the other members of your corporation will be able to send loyalty points to the corporation, which will earn everybody loyalty points, as well as engage in projects that leaders or deputies can found and that everyone else can can participate in.

Always try to maximize the amount of stuff that is going on in your city. If you are about to go to bed, set your long-term projects so that they will be ready to collect in the morning. Reagents are also a great place to use oil on, so that you can minimize the need for a six-hour job.
