Britney Spears: American Dream is the latest celebrity simulator by Glu Games, following Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Katy Perry Pop, and Kendall and Kylie. Your goal here is to set out on the path to becoming a pop star, working your way up from the E-list to the A-list, earning cash and B-Gems, and building up a big, stylish wardrobe. Read on for some tips and tricks for Britney Spears: American Dream!
You have a limited amount of energy in this game, and once you spend it all you either have to wait for it to come back or spend B-Gems for a refill. You can also set the time ahead in your phone’s Date and Time settings to get a free refill, but this trick is counterintuitive if you are in the middle of a timed quest (such as a performance) as it will also cause the time to run down on your quest.
B-Gems are the premium currency of the game, and while the fastest way to get more is to purchase them, you can get them for free, too. Tap on the plus button next to your B-Gems counter and go to the bottom option. You can watch a video for free B-Gems, or head to the offer page and complete offers (most of them free) to earn B-Gems.
If you want to earn some quick cash, go to the overworld area in whatever city you’re in and start tapping on random objects. There are specific ones, such as signs or decorations or mailboxes, that will earn you free coins once you tap them. While it’s not much, this is good to do if you spend all of your cash on clothing and then don’t have money for a plane or bus ticket.
Each piece of clothing that you own earns you a style bonus, which increases the number of fans that you earn per performance. The quickest way to increase your style bonus is to buy the cheapest items of clothing that you can. Each item is worth equal style regardless of the price, so buy the cheap items first for a faster increase.
Network with as many people as you can. Whenever you perform, always be sure to call one of them to invite to your performance. When you call someone, not only does their presence increase the number of fans that you earn per performance, but they earn more fans as well. This adds to their effectiveness when you call them again.
