Candy Crush Saga is the world’s most popular mobile and social game, period. It’s so popular, in fact, that it was even featured in Psy’s “Gentleman” video. The number one way to get free energy in the game is, first, if you are playing the mobile version, connect it with your Facebook account, and if you are playing on Facebook, then do nothing (of course). Then, inevitably, you will find a ton of people on your friends list who play the game as well, and who probably have already sent you invites to play the game.
They’ll probably have sent you requests for lives already, so send them a life back, and send them requests for lives. Wait for them to send you energy back. Or, if you want even more people to send you energy, go to the official Candy Crush Saga Facebook page, or one of the many fan groups, and add people who post in the comments. Or go to the iOS app store and add people.
If you have not yet connected the game to Facebook, and are playing on an iPad, iPhone or an Android device, you can set the time ahead on your phone once you run out of energy. Depending on how far ahead you set the time you’ll earn free energy because you’ll trick the game into thinking time has passed, thus allowing you to automatically earn energy. However, if you have already connected the game to Facebook, then you can’t do this.
While it’s not necessarily free, the charm of life, which can be bought from the Yeti shop, increases your maximum lives from five to eight. However, this costs 17 dollars in the app store. Considering how many free lives you can get over the time that you play the game, though, it more than pays for itself compared to other in app purchases.
