Castle Burn: The Crown League – Top Tips, Walkthrough, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Castle Burn is a new RTS for the iOS and Android platforms that brings a unique take to the Clash Royale-alike genre. Your goal here is to beat your opponent by out-strategizing them and burning their castle to the ground. Your can use many tiers of cards, manage your mana better than the other player, and ugprade everything from your castle to your characters to your spells. Read on for some tips and tricks for Castle Burn!

When you’re taking on archers, goblins, and the like, send out your vikings first, since they have loads of health. Then send out your archers or goblins afterwards. The vikings will soak up all of the damage, while the small troops will smash their opponents without taking as much damage as they would without the vikings being there.

Make smart use of the retreat function. Retreat allows you to bring your troops back to the castle and get some of your mana back. There’s a 20 second cooldown after you retreat once. Another strategy with retreating is to confuse your opponent by hitting retreat, then retreat cancel, to draw their troops into a bad situation where it’s easier to do mass damage to them.

The tactical airship will allow you to deploy unit around it, so use it to your advantage to get rid of the castle quickly. Use it to deploy rhinos, which target the castle, to make short work of the enemy, but also, have a plan in place in case the other player wants to do the same thing to you. Arm up with strong defense units and range troops that can shoot down airships to stop yourself from falling victim to this.

Lana is a hero that can heal your troops and your castle, so use her to your advantage to win a slow-burn victory against tough opponents. Use strong defense and hunker down, keeping your castle safe from the troop hordes. When Burning Time begins, both castles will begin to burn. Use the healing abilities to keep your castle safe, while watching the opposing castle torch itself.

If an opponent tries to retreat and they’re fairly far into your territory, mess up their retreat by dropping troops and heroes behind them. A heavy hero can hold back a light hero, but a light hero can’t hold back a heavy hero, so if you put a light hero behind a heavy hero, they’ll just get pushed right out of the way.
