Castle Doombad: Free to Slay – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Castle Doombad: Free to Slay is a wacky villain simulator that has you playing as Grumpyface, a villain with a dark castle and a trapped princess, and hordes and hordes of heroes attempting to invade it from all sides. Your goal is to defeat the heroes throughout every level using all manner of traps, minions and other goodies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Castle Doombad: Free to Slay!

Start from as close to the princess as you can get and then work your way down. The closer the trap is to the princess, the more heroes will be in danger of being hit by it. The traps at the very bottom of the castle will often be simply bypassed by heroes that enter through one of the bottom doors, but all heroes will be at risk of getting killed by traps toward the top.

Always have generators in your list of traps. Princess screams are as good as gold and the more princess screams you can generate, the faster you can flood a stage with traps and win. Generators should ideally be placed in far off corners, especially in unimportant locations around the bottom of the castle, where they are the least likely to be hit by heroes, and especially behind doors.

You can only place a certain number of minions on each floor, but they are EXTREMELY valuable because they don’t take up any spaces, so combining minions and traps will get you extremely quick kill times against any hero who tries to go against you. Peruse the upgrade store to unlock more different types of minions, and to power up the minions that you already have (especially the basic lil’ minion, which is cheap and speedy).

When using manual traps, pay attention to where heroes are at before you let them off, because when used right, they can kill VERY quickly, but when used incorrectly they can miss completely. Aim them right, though, and you’ll kill FAR more quickly than with automatic traps, so use more manual traps if you want to kill heroes as efficiently as possible.

Shekels are the main currency of the game, while evilness is the premium currency. You can get 50 free shekels per shot by watching free advertisement videos in the in-app purchase store. Oddly enough, you can get free evilness by converting 1,000 shekels to 10 evilness.
