You normally can have a maximum of five lives in this game, and they tend to run out fast when you hit a tough spot and you get stuck. If you want to get free lives easily, just go to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time ahead by half an hour per life that you want to recover. Do this and then go back to the app and all of your lives will be restored.
Best part is, if you do this, and then go back to the date and time settings and set them back to normal, your new lives will still be there. You can do this trick as many times as you want, and you will essentially have unlimited energy, never running out of it.
If you don’t want to mess with the time, though, connect the game to Facebook. If you have friends who play, you can send lives back and forth, but don’t claim any lives until you run out, and thus have to replenish them, or else the lives will be wasted. If not, then you can go to the Facebook page for the game, or the App Store reviews, or to the comment section of this article, to either post your information to add, or add other people who have posted their info.
Don’t get such bad tunnel vision that you’re only focusing on the colors that you need to get rid of, the waffle cones, or whatever the task is at hand. The fastest way to win almost any stage is simply to rack up the special cookies (the horizontal and vertical lines, the X, the cookie bomb and the rainbow cake) and put them to use.
And of course, if you need to get the highest score to get three stars and/or beat your friends’ scores, use the above strategy to finish the stage as quickly as possible. The fastest way to score loads of points (aside from making matches from the oncoming pieces, which happens entirely by accident) is to finish the rounds with as many moves as possible.
