Creative Destruction is a Fortnite-esque battle arena game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to destroy things, build things, and then kill everyone else and be the last player standing on a 100-player battle arena. You can build ramps and barriers, use the terrain to your advantage to gain a leg up over other players, and earn gold, which can be used for all sorts of character customizations. Read on for some tips and tricks for Creative Destruction!
If you get first place in this game, you win the “hot pot”. Early on in the game, use the Destructor to start wrecking anything that you can for building materials. There is only one kind of building material in this game, so there’s not wood, metal, etc. Also, if you catch another player hiding on a tower or in a building, use the Destructor to destroy their hiding spot and flush them out.
If you aren’t playing with a particularly creative batch of rivals, though (and usually you won’t be), you can use elevation gains to get a huge advantage. Most notable is the water tower. Build ramps and climb to the top of the tower, especially with a long-scoped weapon, climb up and knock out the ramp, then look around for other players running around that you can scope out and shoot at.
Weapons and ammo are always at a premium, as are goodies such as first-aid kits, and the most likely places to find them are going to be inside of houses. Parachute to buildings to begin with at the start of the round. Run in and out of buildings, find what you can, then head out and hide/look for targets/escape the storm/etc. Also look for airdrops as they drop chests full of supplies.
Look for the scope and the trigger button to appear on both sides of the screen at different times. The purposes is that so you can aim with your right hand and shoot with your left hand, or that you can strafe with your left hand and shoot with the right hand. You can switch back and forth at any time; use the aim-and-shoot when you’re sniping or hiding and strafe-and-shoot when you are being chased.
Keep an eye out for the storm, as the storm constantly shrinks and anyone who gets caught outside of it, will end up taking damage and dying easily. Stay out of the storm, head to an area that is going to be safe for awhile if you are going to snipe at rivals, and “gatekeep”, or babysit the edges of the storm to look for last-minute runners that you can pick off easily.
