Dark District is Kabam’s latest for the iOS platform. This real time strategy battle game gives an outer space makeover to the old Clash of Clans formula, as you try to build up a base, collect Hexium, Alloy and Credits, and fill your base with the most badass space machinery that you can build. Plus, you’ll have to defend your base against the hordes of players who want to raid you for resources. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dark District!
Complete the quests if you don’t know what to do next, are bored or you want to earn more credits. Quests are in the icon right below your experience level, and not only will they all earn you resources and experience, they will also earn you credits and help you advance your progress in the game without even really thinking about it.
Improve your defenses instantly by moving your buildings so that they are as close together as possible. To do this, tap on a building to make the editing screen pop up, then tap and drag it to wherever you want to place it. The closer together your buildings are, the more they will be in range of your defensive units, and the easier it will be to surround them by walls.
Upgrade your command center as quickly as possible to increase your resource storage, and also to increase the number of each building you can construct, and how high you can level each building. Plus, once you unlock the resource vault, it will be far easier to stockpile massive amounts of resources just in case of attacks, or of needing to train tons of troops.
When you’re attacking another base, send in as few troops as you can get away with, because you lose troops whether they get destroyed or not. Change your strategy as you go. At first, you’ll have to play the numbers game, so send in as many tanks as you can. Aircraft are great for splash damage, meaning that if someone has buildings close together, these will be very effective (also for busting walls down), though they will get killed quickly. Once you unlock mechs, send them in first so that they can distract the fire from the defensive units. Then send your tanks and airplanes in while the guns are distracted.
