Dashy Panda is a new mobile game for the iOS and Android platforms. As you may have guessed by the name, which evokes Flappy Bird and Crossy Road, Dashy Panda is one of those games that takes 30 seconds or less to play, but will get you completely addicted as you try to break your high score. Your goal is to avoid obstacles and get as far as you can, then go back and do it all over again. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dashy Panda!
Don’t try to go too fast through the stage or you will only end up getting yourself killed by one of the spikes or one of the other obstacles, such as the falling snowballs in the snowy bits of the level. Be sure to time the obstacles before you make your big crossing, because some of them will have identical timing, and then you will end up having to readjust as a certain, and close, point in the level in order to make up for what the level throws at you.
Also, be sure to take into account the momentum that your Panda builds when you run, so that you let off the screen just a small amount of time before the bowl of rice. If you stop too late, then you will overshoot the coin that you want to collect, instead careening into the next obstacle. Don’t let off too early though or you will hit the one before that.
If you want to get rid of the ads in this game, all that you have to do is throw the game into airplane mode so that the ads won’t load, or turn off the data and the wifi before you play again. Generally I don’t recommend this because developers need to get paid somehow, so if you want to get rid of the ads that badly, purchase the ad-free experience on the cheap, for 99 cents.
There is no time limit at all in any of the stages. This means that you can take all of the time that you need to finish the stage, without having to bother rushing through. If you rush through, you are more likely to hit an obstacle and get a bad score. Take your time and focus.
Check the leaderboards to see what the high scores in this game are. If you want to compare yourself to other players, then skip the hacked scores by Shaky Bird and others so that you can find the real scores, which are the ones which look difficult yet realistic. Then use these to compare yourself to the others who play the game.
