DC Legends is a new superhero RPG for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a cast of DC superheroes and supervillains, as they all come together and team up to fight against the Manhunters, a race of androids who are attempting to subjugate the earth. You can collect a huge batch of superheroes as well as different outfits for each one, build up teams to take on various groups of villains, and collect essence gems and essence, as well as hero fragments to unlock even more heroes. Read on for some tips and tricks for DC Legends!
Battles can be sped up by turning on the 2X speed option and by turning on auto-battle mode. Auto-battling should only be used for easy battles as it will make some hilariously bad decisions that will often lose you the battle against tougher villains and bosses. Auto mode can be turned on or off at any time, so it’s best used against the first wave of enemies, generally.
Switch heroes in and out as needed in order to maximize the affinity advantage. You’ll see the enemy affinity before each battle, so try swapping heroes in and out in order to increase the advantage to the highest possible positive level. The affinity advantage can mean the difference between victory and defeat, especially against tougher enemies.
Your overall power level is important, and there are numerous ways to improve it. Giving experience boosts to your heroes is the primary way; each of them can be leveled up to whatever your overall experience level is at maximum. Equipment that drops during a battle can also be equipped on each hero, and when they have all six slots filled, their gear rank can be increased. Each super power can be increased as well.
The most useful upgrade for each hero, which can be done only if you have all of the necessary hero fragments, is boosting their star level. This increases all of their base stats, affecting their superpowers and all of the experience level-ups that you give them. Each hero can be leveled up to 5-stars at maximum, so any common hero can become a rare hero after enough time and fragments.
Check the levels to see what drops they have, and go back and play old levels to get the drops you are looking for. Switch from normal to heroic in the story mode for even better drops. And when you run out of energy, go to the PvP Wraith Arena to compete against other players. The higher you rank, the better the prizes you can earn, including rare heroes and villains such as Lex Luthor.
