Diamond Quest! – Tips, Tricks, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Diamond Quest! is a new match-three puzzle game by TeamLava and Storm8 studios that combines the myriad obstacles of Candy Crush with the monster-fighting gimmick of some of today’s more popular games, such as Dungeon Gems. You have all kinds of animals that you can collect, and their attacks, which correspond with specific gem colors, can help you attack enemies and win. Read on for some tips and tricks for Diamond Quest!

If you run out of your energy, it will take a full FIVE HOURS to recover it all – one hour per energy. Luckily, it is possible to get it all back right away. All that you have to do is go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet and set the time ahead by one hour for each energy point that you want to get back. Then go back to the game and it will all be there.

After that, you can go back to the date and time and set the time back to normal if you want to. If you do this, you will still keep the energy that you recovered by doing this cheat. A bonus addition to this is that you won’t lose any energy for awhile if you set the time back to normal. I’m not sure why it works this way, and eventually, this glitch might be patched over, but take advantage while you can.

As you progress through levels you’ll unlock more animals. You might not get three stars the first time that you play a stage, but if you don’t you can always go back later on, with more animals and upgrades to your existing animals, and play again. Their extra power will make it FAR easier to win quickly and earn three stars against enemies.

There are a ton of different challenges present depending on the stage, but generally your best chance to win will be by making bombs, potions, or line-clearing diamonds. Match four gems, five gems, or an L- or T-shape (or a + shape) to get these special gems. Blend two of these special pieces together for huge effects (and usually, near-instant victory).

If you haven’t connected the game to Facebook, do so in order to earn some free gold. If you don’t want to bug people, then set it so that only you can see anything that the game posts for you, or start a second Facebook account for games, and connect it to that one rather than your primary one. Either way, the free gold is worth it, as if you are just starting out, it adds just enough gold so that you can spend it on a rare animal chest.
