Diamond Story is a new match-three game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this game is to get through the many levels, stealing jewelry and dealing with greedy fat cats and other villains along the way. You can play with your friends, unlock all kinds of boosts, and earn golden bone coins along the way. Read on for some tips and tricks for Diamond Story!
You start off with five lives, and whenever you lose a level, you use a life. It takes 20 minutes to restore a life if you lose it, so to speed the process along, connect the game to Facebook and ask your friends for lives. If you don’t have any friends who like match-3 games or who play this, start a second FB account, connect that one and then look for people to add on groups for Diamond Story, on the Google Play or App Store review pages.
If you are going to use the Jimmy to get rid of a jewel that is blocking another combo, make smart use of it by jimmying a piece of jewelry with a large number next to it. Do this so that you can collect many pieces and have it count more towards your total, rather than just wasting a jimmy on one single piece of jewelry.
Look for every opportunity that you can to make a combo of four or five pieces, or even better, seven pieces. The larger the special combo that you make, the larger the numbers that get added on to the surrounding gems. Clear these combos to then add loads of jewelry to your collected totals.
The most surefire way to get a three-star score is to finish a level with as many moves left as possible, so if you need that extra star, use that +5 moves boost before you finish the level even if you are going to clear it, as long as you aren’t sure whether or not you will get all three stars for it. That way you get the five extra safes at the end of the level.
In addition to the safes that you find all around the map, you can open an extra safe once every 24 hours in order to earn the prizes out of it. Prizes can include extra bone coins, as well as extra power-ups to add to your stash, to stop you from having to spend bones later on.
