Diver Dogs – The Ultimate Tips, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Diver Dogs is a new action puzzle game for the iOS platform. You control a bunch of dog/shark hybrids, and their goal is to rescue a bunch of cute little puppies that have been trapped inside of bubbles under the sea and rendered unable to escape. Read on for some tips and tricks for Diver Dogs!

To beat a stage, all that you have to do is to rescue at least one puppy and to make it back to the rescue boat in time. However, if you want to unlock Sector 2, you have to rescue at least two puppies in every stage in Sector 1. If you want to unlock Sector 3, you have to rescue every single puppy in both of the first two sectors. So go back and start from oldest to newest when you replay stages for more puppies.

There are three different diver dogs that you can choose from, so choose wisely and pick one based on which stage you’re on (if it’s a stage you have been having trouble with). Sharko is tough and will be easier to control, as well as able to take more damage. Sharkie is the speed demon. Shar-Shar will have a more magnetic reach, making it easier to suck in credits and pets.

Their stats will increase as they gain levels, too. If you are having trouble on a particular stage, keep playing an old stage over and over while your dogs gain experience points. With their stats increased, go back to the tough stage and play it again, and most likely you’ll find it far easier to beat than it was before.

Take advantage of the various objects that you find around. The chevrons will boost your speed, while the short force fields will send you in the direction that they are pointing (kind of like barrels in Donkey Kong Country) and boost your speed. When you’re in the middle of a high speed run, be more careful while steering (tap rather than hold the screen) to ensure that you don’t overshoot it on the next turn.

All of the purchases that can be made with credits (the upgrades) will change your dog cosmetically, but they won’t affect your performance at all. Launch cores are this game’s “energy” and once you use them up, they come back on their own, but it’s more fun to set the time ahead on your phone to restore them right away.
