This goes for the classic mode and the zen mode. The arcade mode, on the other hand, is an endless running mode that speeds up rather slowly – so slowly, in fact, that if you aren’t paying attention, it can throw you off guard, especially with how the outlines of the tiles stay in place. So pay close attention to the tiles and their speed. Put a rhythm in your head that coincides with the tiles, speeding it up slowly as you go.

In both classic and zen mode, your goal is to tap as quickly as possible. Tap to a rhythm though so that you don’t tap too jerkily, because if you do, it will become an easy source of frustration and you will end up double-tapping your way into a loss.

Classic mode requires you to get fifty steps as fast as possible, but zen mode requires you to get as many steps as you can in a span of 30 seconds. Do your fastest tapping in the first 20 seconds, then slow down at the end so that you don’t let adrenaline get the best of you and overtap.

Play right up until the point where frustration starts to screw you up, then turn it off for awhile. Come back in an hour or two and you will find yourself tapping faster and performing better at the game without even trying, due to naturally speeding up and improving
