In Dr. Driving for the iOS and Android, coins are required if you want to buy upgrades for your car, or if you want to buy new cars in the first place. Gold is the premium currency of the game, and it can buy you the cars that are so good that you can’t buy them with regular coins. Coins are the main currency and in addition to upgrades, they are also good for repairing your car. Read on for some tips and tricks on how to get more of both for FREE!
One great way to get free coins is to complete the lane submissions as often as possible. In the top right corner of the screen you’ll see a list of three arrows (top left if you have switched to left lane driving in the options menu). Go to the arrow that’s lit up in the orange, and when you do you will earn one bonus coin. It can be possible to earn 20-40 coins in one stage depending on how quickly you can do this.
Plus, of course, you earn more coins if you beat a mission. Go to the missions that you know you can beat the most easily – one of the easiest ones to beat is the highway speed mission, since you neither have to park nor turn. Play them over and over. Plus, increase your driver level by beating missions too.
Various achievements can be completed in the game which can earn you bonus coins. Go to the Achievements section of Game Center to see what they are. Complete one of them and you’ll earn a large chunk of bonus coins – for example, completing 100 lane submissions will earn you 500 coins immediately. Not all of the achievements, though, will earn you coins.
To get free gold, you can do one of two things. Tap on the button to rate the game in the “credits” menu, and you will earn 100 gold. The button is labeled “Rate This!”. Plus, if you log into the game with your Facebook account, which is done from the home screen, you will earn 250 gold in one shot, and you will be able to play the game without advertisements. Luckily, too, most of the premium cars in the game can be had for either 250 or 350 coins, essentially giving you your choice of any premium car in the game for free!
