One of the most crucial factors to how you will do on a stage is how you begin the stage. Start the stage off by pressing the button that pans the camera over to the right. Then, you’ll be able to see enemies immediately when they enter the battlefield. Use this to shoot enemies quickly, not even giving them a chance to get close to the wall.

Strengthening your arrows is very important in order to win as the stages get tougher, and you can do this from the store by buying new crossbows as well as by unlocking new “skills” in the first tab of the store. Increase the agility as well so that you can rattle off more shots in a shorter amount of time.

Spend the necessary gems that you need to in order to upgrade the mana, so that you can unlock more magic spells such as the blizzard and the lightning bolt. You will be able to use these consecutively, vastly increasing the damage that you do. Also, going to the third tab in the store allows you to power up not only the walls, but the soldiers in the barracks. You can unlock the marksmen, horsemen and axemen, which will be effective against different types of targets and which will allow you to flood the battlefield with soldiers.

Put out as many soldiers as possible until you run out of food. Then, while you are waiting for your food to regenerate, use magic and arrows to blow away the enemies without any soldiers for as long as you can. Alternatively, simply put out the minimum amount of soldiers necessary to block enemies from advancing towards the walls.
