Dragon Story: Halloween is the latest holiday-themed spinoff of the Dragon Story series for the iOS and Android. Like the others, this is a similar game to the Dragon Story that made the whole franchise famous, but with all kinds of new, spooky dragons for you to use and raise, and even more rare dragons for you to breed. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dragon Story: Halloween!
You only have a limited amount of space per experience level to place your dragon habitats, so place them based on how many coins they can earn you at a time. For example, Green Grove can earn a maximum of 1,000 coins before you have to collect from it, while Red Rocks can only earn 250 coins and the more expensive Yellow Plateau can only earn 800 coins. Have a lot of green ones for coin farming purposes.
If you run out of space and you can’t place any more expansions yet, then start tapping and seling all of your cobblestone walkways that are there when you begin the game. Do this until you get rid of all of them, then start moving your buildings around (getting rid of wasted space) scrunching them closer together. You’ll make a lot more space this way.
Your social rating is based on how many people you visit and how many dragons you play with. Look down toward the bottom of the community list to find people whose dragons have not been played with yet. At the same time, increase your social rating to at least two eggs or three eggs (four eggs is the maximum) to get other players to show up and help you out more frequently, since social rating will make you appear higher up on random player lists.
Try all sorts of different breeding combinations when you are trying to breed rare dragons. There are hundreds of dragons in this game, mostly with two types and many with three types, and quite a few instances consist of multiple dragons being of the same type, so breed the same combination multiple times and you will often get different results!
Have as many farms as possible in your island, and have as many of them going at the same time as you possibly can so that you can feed your dragons as much as possible. Feeding them will level them up, which causes them to be more effective in battle and to earn more coins per hour. Evolve them and then you can feed them again.
