Dungeon Keeper (iOS/Android) Attack Strategy Guide, Page 2

Your strategy will naturally change a bit when you are attacking other players. Most players won’t mess with their path layout and the layout of their rooms, so the first thing to remember is that the treasuries are usually unguarded; therefore, if you want some quick gold and a little bit of quick stone, send a few skeletons into the bottom spawn point. Stone storages are usually guarded by trolls, and are thus a little bit tougher to beat.

Some players, however, will have a tougher layout that you have to really analyze before you attack. Generally, the left and right spawn points are the closest to the dungeon heart. Don’t send in all of your minions at once. Send in just enough to destroy a few buildings, and once the buildings are destroyed, they become spawn points. Send in more minions at the new spawn points so that they are closer to the dungeon heart.

Unlock the training room as quickly as you can. The training room will allow you to train one type of troop so that its health and attack power increase. Send your favorite troops here to make them even more powerful, and thus even more effective in battles.

Unlock the guard post as quickly as you can, as well. The guard post will unlock the “immortals”, which are unique and strong troops that you can send in. They will not die or be lost after a battle, and they will gradually increase in power as they are used in battle. Use them as a force multiplier and to help you win battles without having to send in as many troops. Troops that you don’t send in are not lost.

Finally, make use of the guild function. You can borrow minions from those who are in your guild. You’ll also be able to lend guild members your minions, though, so make sure that you return the favor in order to keep in good standing with the rest of your guild.
