Dungeon Quest – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Dungeon Quest is an addicting new roguelike for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to go as far into the dungeons as you can, keep going until you make it to the boss, then go onto the next dungeon once you beat the boss, and keep doing this ad infinitum. This game can be very easy or very hard, as there are loads of levels and difficulty levels. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dungeon Quest!

-Gaining experience points is the surest way to level up in attack power, mana and hit points. The bar at the bottom of the screen will show how far you have to go until you gain another level.
-Progress to the next room and the game will save itself automatically. Once you do that, go back to the main menu, change the enemy power level (which can go all the way up to 8). The higher the power level, the faster you earn experience, gold, and better equipment.

-Don’t just go by equipment rarity when you are looking at what to equip. Look at the overall statistics as well as any special attacks, special elemental defenses and secondary defenses. Plus, each weapon will give you a different type of standard attack. With weapons, though, damage per second is your best indicator of effectiveness.

-From the main menu, you can go back and replay any previous level that you have already played. You can even take new characters to old levels if your purchase a second or third character slot.
-Whenever you gain an experience level, be sure to go back to your character management menu and spend the stat points, if not immediately, at least before you make it to the next boss.

-Boss characters can be fairly tough to beat; however, each of them tends to attack in a pattern, such as the goo king slowly turning at the same speed the entire time. Know the pattern and you should be able to defeat the boss without taking a hit, or with taking minimal damage.
-Pick up all of the gold that enemies drop when you kill them. If you don’t pick up some of the gold, you will end up not earning it, and it will go away.

-A good general indicator of what’s the best piece of equipment (out of a particular category) is to equip the one which earns you the most gold when you sell it.
-Sell equipment to keep your inventory from filling up. Sell everything that can’t be equipped by your character, and sell every inferior piece of equipment otherwise, even if it has been enchanted before.
