Continue reading for our tier list of the best heroes in Enigma of Sepia!

S-Tier:

Sepia: Best DPS type in the entire game. Inflicts massive damage and targets enemies with the lowest health first. Sky high stats.

Sanguina: Another killer DPS type except that she can also target the entire rear row. Can also block enemy revival. Sky high stats.

Sandra: Strongest healer in the game, heals up to four allies at a time while also granting them healing over time.

Yukari: High stats, fire damage plus burning damage over time, and (best of all) self-heals when she’s killed for the first time, meaning she is VERY hard for enemies to get rid of.

Carmilla: Great stats, does decent damage with rage skill but LIFESTEALS, and also causes confusion to enemies using Granulation skill, which makes them attack their own allies. Epically valuable.

S-minus tier

Chronis: Not only does insane amounts of damage (especially to enemy with the highest attack) but casts Time Stop frequently to stop enemies from using rage attacks.

Crimson: Not only has strong attack rage against the enemies with the highest attack, but has VERY strong lifesteal skills, and upon death, does MASSIVE damage to all enemy units.

Sylphyra: Super strong rage skill that casts again if it kills an enemy. Insanely strong for PvE or when killing weaker PvP enemy units.

A+-Tier:

Vespera: Best AOE damage in the entire game, and also self-purifies at low HP to make herself harder to kill.

Ginara: Good attacker, excellent healer who can rage heal 4 allies at a time, and can also cause enemies to take damage when they attack. Overpowered for an SSR, for sure.

Caelestis: The closest thing to a true tank that this game has. Can shield allies, then reflect the damage she takes right back at enemies.

A-tier:

Scientia: Great AOE damage to the rear row, and heals allies while also doing damage at the same time. Plus drops enemy hit rate.

Mentora: Excellent healing powers, plus very high damage buffs. Pair with one of your super strong AOE or DPS types.

Eclipsea: Not only is she a great AOE attacker but she casts Crow, which acts as a timebomb and does massive damage to enemies after three turns. Excellent pair with guardians.

Giselle: Killer AOE damage to all enemies and transforms into Hero Queen, with a ridiculous 100% crit rate. Great for long grindy battles.

Ivy Lynn: Good damage, EXCELLENT shielder who protects all allies from damage.

B+-Tier:

Royelle: Decent damage AOE, but high chance to inflict burn and cause damage over time.

Naldra: Good burner but also can curse enemies so that when Naldra takes damage, they take damage.

Celestia: Sky high damage AOE attacks. Great buffs but only for other sword guild types.

Satoria: Amazing stats, decent attack from the rage skill but some of the best attack buffs and anti-defense debuffs in the game.

B-tier:

Nora Zorana: High attack and a small chance at lifesteal.

Lumina: High electric AOE damage with damage over time and paralysis as well, which can stop enemies from attacking.

Morgana: Excellent assist/mediocre heal type with high stats. Pair this one with multiple high DPS types.

Erenor: Great stats but mediocre rage skill, but she also targets one enemy at a time in the rear row until she offs them, which is extremely useful. Strange name.

B-minus tier:

Bipolaris: Targets units with the lowest HP and can use confusion to make enemies attack their own allies.

Denise: Decent physical damage and buff/debuff unit. Fairly basic.
