Extreme Forklifting 2 is one of the most ridiculous, goofy and addicting games on the app store. Your goal in this game is to pick up pallets and move them to new locations to earn cash, as well as to complete various goofy achievements and earn the highest score possible. You can earn complete achievements and customize your forklift as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Extreme Forklifting 2!
Take a little bit of time to get used to the controls of your forklift, especially if you have never worked a job that involved actually driving a forklift. Above the steering wheel you will find the shift lever, which you can use to switch it from forward to reverse, or vice versa. Above the gas pedal, you can control the elevation of the fork.
Hit the settings mode if you want to change the controls around or set the game into power-saving mode. Power-saving mode will switch the game into 30 FPS mode, causing it to drain less of the battery. You can reverse the direction of the forklift controls so that holding down makes the fork go up and holding up makes the fork go down.
Half of the achievements will consist of simply moving a specific amount of pallets. The other half involve completing other feats, such as destroying a pallet or crashing the forklift. To take care of both of these at once, grab a pallet, lift it as high over your head as it will go, then go sideways off of a ramp or platform. Lifting the fork high will change the weight balance causing you to tip over easily. You’ll fall to the side and your pallet will come crashing to the ground.
The time trial tracks are where the craziness really begins. The extreme stunts track, for example, is full of moving platforms and other craziness, while the crazy spinning track has you navigating spinning platforms to hit the checkpoints. The short and long tracks are self-explanatory.
You can customize your forklift, but all of the customizations require in-app purchases for one dollar each. You can buy new forms of hard hats for your worker, or buy decals for your forklift, such as flames. You can even add a spoiler to the back of the forklift, which doesn’t change how it drives, but it makes it look cool.
