Faily Rocketman is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to launch a rocket as high up into the sky as possible, all the way up to outer space if you can. Your goal is to shoot off your rocket, and then steer it to avoid obstacles until you run out of fuel.
You can earn coins, which you can then use to upgrade your rocket, allowing you to send it to even greater heights. Of course, the higher you go, the more ridiculous the obstacles get, making it more important to turn accurately.
Read on for some tips and tricks for Faily Rocketman!
Your goal is to go as high as possible, and while your height maximum is limited by the amount of fuel you have, you can still squeeze out extra meters of height by keeping your rocket aimed as straight up as possible for the longest amount of time that you can.
Of course, you have to avoid obstacles in order to keep going. Some will be stationary, while some will be moving. If one is moving, turn in the opposite direction to avoid it easily. If an obstacle is floating to the left, for example, then turn to the right, and vice versa.
Your upgrades consist of fuel, power, turn, and armor. Armor allows you to take one more hit without crashing. Turning upgrades allow your rocket to turn quicker to avoid obstacles more easily. Power upgrades increase your speed and acceleration. Fuel allows you to fly for a longer period of time.
If you have an internet connection, there are a number of bonuses that you can earn from watching advertisement videos. All that you have to do is finish out the video, and the bonus is unlocked. The most obvious one is the coin doubler at the end of the round. Watch to the end to double your coin earnings.
Also, though, you can unlock a booster at the beginning of each round. Boosters include such goodies as extra fuel, but one of the best boosters is the “Skip 500” booster. Not only will you skip to 500 meters, but you’ll have a shield for another 250 meters after that.
Another one of the most useful boosts is the +3 armor boost. Once you get above about 500 meters, the number of obstacles increases, so this will allow you to run out your fuel easily.
Look around for bonuses that you can collect in the middle of each level. Coins are the obvious one, but you can also collect fuel in order to extend your run for longer.
Collect bullets when you see them in order to shoot down objects that are in front of you. And when you see a shield in front of you, collect it and you’ll be able to smash into anything for awhile without crashing or losing armor points.
You can unlock new rockets by multiple means, whether that consists of spending coins, completing tasks, or flying up a certain distance. Tap on the home button, and then tap the rocket button on the left side of the menu to see all of the possible rockets, or to switch rockets after you unlock one.
