Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Farm Story 2, a new farming game for the iOS and Android platforms by TeamLava! Farm Story 2 puts you in the shoes of a farmer who starts off with a few little plots and animal pens, but who gradually grows their farm into an entire business, complete with chocolatiers and deep friers and candle makers. It includes a hardcore social aspect, allowing you to buy, sell, and trade items with your fellow Farm Story 2 players. It’s a long way from the beginning to that point, though, so read on for the beginner’s guide to Farm Story 2!
As the game starts off, first you will be introduced to the farm plots. At the beginning you will have nine of them, and you will only be able to plant wheat; however, as you go on, you will unlock more plants to plant. Each one gives you two of the crop when harvested, for every one that you plant. Wheat takes only around a minute and a half to harvest; every subsequent crop will take longer.
Next, your crops can then be sent to the feed mill, where they can then be used to make feed for animals. First, you’ll have feed for cows, which can be made from wheat, but later you’ll unlock feed for chickens, which can be made from corn, and as you continue and unlock more animals and crops, you’ll be able to make more animal feeds.
You also have a cow pen to start off with, followed by many other animal pens. Here you will be able to use the feed that you made in the mill to feed your animals. Then you can use the bucket tool to collect products from them, such as milk for cows, and eggs from chickens.
Finally, you have the deliveries building. See those 8 squares at the top? When one of them lights up, that means a delivery is ready to be shipped off from that old-school airplane that you have. You can use that airplane to ship one delivery at a time. This is all of what you start off with; however, as you continue to gain experience levels (which are gained by sending deliveries out), you will unlock an entire raft of new production buildings.
