Fear The Walking Dead: Dead Run – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Fear The Walking Dead: Dead Run is a new endless run and gun game for the iOS platform. Your goal in this game is to go as far as you can (or to the end of the level, depending on the game mode), surviving zombie attacks and rescuing survivors. You can purchase a large variety of weapons and even engage in hand to hand combat. Read on for some tips and tricks for Fear The Walking Dead: Dead Run!

There are two main ways to play this game. The survival mode will test you to see how far you can get, and is theoretically an endless runner. Episodes are levels with a finite length and different challenges for each level. Coins and ammo from one mode are transferable to the other mode, though.

In addition to the coins earned within the game, you can earn free coins by watching an ad. Look for the “watch ad” button, which usually appears in the ammo shop screen or the mission screen. If you watch a video, you earn 200 free coins. Come back later for more videos after you play for awhile.

Check the missions before you play as well. Each time that you complete one of the missions, you gain experience points. You can skip the missions by paying coins, but they are generally fairly quick to beat, and easy to accomplish.

If you end up on a long run, you’ll frequently run out of ammo before the run is over. In this case, look out for zombies who will engage you, and prepare to start attacking them right away. If you attack quickly enough, you’ll take little to no damage. You can keep doing this for a very long time. Shoot enemies that are directly in your path, rather than in the background, to keep going for even longer.

Other tasks will be a little bit more random, such as destroying windows or earning sharpshooters. To earn a sharpshooter, tap just right so that you earn a headshot against a walker. This is much easier to do on an iPad than on an iPhone. Use your boosts to maximize your coin and experience earnings (especially experience; only use the coin ones if you know that you can earn back what you spent).
