Final Shift is a new endless racer game for the iOS and Android where your goal is to run on a track for as long as you possibly can. You come across ever more complicated obstacles to navigate, coins which you can collect in order to buy new ships, and players from around the world who will be your competition as you fight for high scores. Read on for some tips and tricks for Final Shift!
Tap on the left side of the screen to move to the lane to the left and tap to the right side of the screen in order to move to the right. One trick to quickly shift all the way across the screen, though, is to tap left in the far-left lane, or right in the far-right lane, to shift all the way to the other side of the screen in one move. Use this to avoid having to hit the screen 4 times in order to go from one side to the other.
You can collect coins in the middle of your run, but if you go to the ship select screen, you can earn them even more quickly than you would during a round. Tap on the “Watch Ad” button in the ship select screen and when the ad finishes, you will be 25 coins richer. The ads only work if you have a good data connection; if you have no connection, then they will just black out the screen.
Each of the ships costs a different amount of money, except Revelation 21, which is free when you give a like on Facebook to the game. New ships cost between 200 and 500 coins. There is no difference to the gameplay from playing with a new ship. All of them play the same way.
One of the obstacles that can throw you off the hardest is the color spray. When you get sprayed with a color, your ship will change color. Then when you come up to one of the colored gates, you have to go through the one which matches the color of your ship. If you don’t, you die and your run ends.
You’ll get video offers popping up every once in awhile for a power-up, such as a coin magnet or a shield. Whenever you use a coin magnet, you’ll suck up any coins that are around you without having to fly directly through them in order to pick them up. If you use a shield, you will be able to survive after your first hit. It’s just your second hit that will kill you.
