Finger Hero is a new game for the iOS platform – an endless runner game that’s the first known game of its kind to take advantage of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus’ new 3D Touch capabilities. Your goal in this game is to go as far as you can and score as many points as possible, using your 3D Touch to your advantage to do so. You can still play even without 3D Touch, though, if you are on an iPad or older iPhone. Read on for some tips and tricks for Finger Hero!
Press down on the screen harder to make your character go faster, or softer to make your character go slower. Generally, it’s best to stay in the slower column until you start to get the hang of moving around, then you can start speeding it up when you want to set fast high-score records.
You can collect coins within the levels themselves, or you can watch ad videos for free coins every time that they are offered. The fastest way to earn more coins is by collecting the free prizes that become available often – these can earn you up to 150 or even 200 coins at a time.
Once you get at least 100 coins you can spin for a new character. If you are not happy with who you got, you can spend 25 coins to re-spin before closing the character wheel. Your character doesn’t change the gameplay at all – they just give you new ways to customize.
Typically, too, you won’t be able to see your character at all, because they will be underneath your finger, and if you let your finger off of the screen, the character will end up not appearing. Don’t worry about your character’s location in relation to where the obstacles are. Focus on moving the tip of your finger around all of the obstacles instead.
If you have a device that does not have 3D Touch, whether it’s an iPad, an iPhone SE or an older iPhone, you can still play and you can still change speeds. Move your ball/character upwards on the screen to speed up its movement, and downward on the screen in order to slow the movement down.
