Floor is Lava Challenge is a new game by Squad Social LLC and Appnoxious for the iOS and Android platforms. In this game your goal is to jump up as many platforms as you can before the rising lava comes and gets you. The lava increases speed gradually, and you have to outrun it in order to get a high score. Read on for some tips and tricks for Floor is Lava Challenge!
While it might SEEM light the way to go is to tap as quickly as possible to dodge the lava, paradoxically, tapping SLOWER is the way to get a higher score. The lava changes speeds to match your general tapping speed, so if you keep the tapping speed down, then the speed of the lava will be kept low as well. Within reason, of course.
By the same token, keep your taps at a consistent speed. Around 180-200 BPM is the best speed for keeping the lava at bay and scoring and unlimited number of points. Any more than that and you will just end up going too quickly and drawing the lava to flow up and knock you out of the game, dropping your point totals.
Hit the high score screen and you will be able to compare your score against the best players on the same platform as you. For now you’ll probably see a lot of low scores as players have issues figuring out to keep going for an unlimited amount of time. Use the tricks above for unlimited points so that you can make the jump onto the leaderboard before the rest of the world figures out the unlimited point tricks.
Advertisements pop up every so often in this game, and while they are not all that obnoxious compared to some other games, they can get to be a bit much. Currently, there is no option to get rid of all of the ads with an in-app purchase, so your best bet if you are tired of the ads is to shut off your data and cellular connections or simply to set your device into airplane mode and reload the game. The downside to this, though, is that none of your high scores will record.
Or if you want to play the game without all of the pop-up ads coming up but you still do not want to cheat, then your best bet is to restart as quickly as possible after you finish a round. The ads tend to pop up on a time basis, so let it sit for awhile and then the ad will appear.
