Flow Free: Warps is the latest entry in the Flow Free franchise of simple yet complicated iOS and Android puzzle games. Your goal is to solve puzzles either in free-play mode or in time trial mode, use as few hints as possible, and unlock all kinds of special levels, ranging from fairly challenging to insanely difficult. Read on for some tips and tricks for Flow Free: Warps!
The difference between this game and the other games in the series is that you can warp from one side of the level to the other. You’re going to need to do this in order to make lines connecting all of the various colored dots, but you won’t need to warp all of the dots in order to beat the level; you might even only need to do one dot per level, depending on the level.
There are various options to make the game more playable if you have any degree of color blindness. Go to the options menu and you can set the color labeling option on, which will label each color with a letter (A, B, C, D, etc.) There are also a number of available themes, some of which come with the game and some of which are available via in-app purchase.
If you want to get access to all of the level packs without having to go through all 150 levels of the initial pack, go to the 150th level and beat it. Even if you haven’t beaten all of (or any of) the levels before 150, you’ll still unlock the rest of the level packs, and you’ll still be able to go back to any level in the starter pack and play again if you want to.
The time trial is a great way to practice speeding through all of the free-play levels with ease. You can set the board to be anywhere between 5×5 and 9×9, and when you begin the level, you’ll have a set time to complete as many boards as you can – either 30 seconds, one minute, two minutes, three minutes or four minutes. You can set your own challenge and see how you rank against others who have tried that same challenge in the global leaderboards.
Once you beat the 150th starter pack level, you can change level packs any time that you want to and play them in every order you want. They all have different challenges to play, such as different sized warps or different walls, and different board sizes, so switch back and forth to get a good look at what all of the challenges are.
