5) Use a hit and run strategy on all of the main bosses.
Run or dash up to them and unleash a sword combination, then dash away when they start their attack, or even before they start their attack. Or for a bit of extra range safety, use the gummy whip instead (other weapons don’t tend to be strong enough to do much to the bosses).
4) How to beat the final bosses (SPOILER ALERT)
There are two final bosses. You can beat Edd by doing the same hit and run strategy, but typically you won’t be able to get in a full combo on him using the sword due to his speed. Use the whip to make it real easy to beat him – just run away, whip him until he approaches you, and keep running away and whipping him. Then do nothing but run once you run out of blue stamina until it recharges.
3) How to beat the final bosses (continued)
Fat Ian is the second final boss, and is much easier to beat. He will sway around and fall, and his falls are easy to time, so attack him until he begins to fall, then dash away. Do NOT get hit by a falling Fat Ian, though, or you will take a gigantic amount of damage. It gets a little easier if you use the Gummy Whip but it takes quite a long time with this weapon.
2) Play old boss battles and replay the final boss stage to earn free crystals.
The gold boxes that you find on these stages will contain a high incidence of free crystals inside, so go back to these stages, as well as stages 26-29, in order to earn a whole lot of free crystals that you can use for armor. Sometimes, it’s a good idea to go to these to earn one crystals just for revival purposes before attempting a tough boss.
1) How to get the final weapon
First, beat the game. Then, you will be able to buy the lollipop wand for 5,000 coins and one gummy worm. This will turn every enemy into a flamingo, which is a bizarre and hilarious outcome, and will make the game far easier.
