Frantic Architect is a new iOS and Android game where your goal is to build a tower using one block at a time. Your next block connects to your last block, and you have to time the tap right in order to make sure that the block lands in the right spot. Go the wrong way, and you could tip the entire structure over. Read on for some tips and tricks for Frantic Architect!
Right from the outset, you play with plain gray cubes, but you can change them to something different at any point in time. There is no need to purchase any new cubes; whenever you are in between rounds, hit the left and right arrows next to the cube to change the design. They will all be unlocked right away.
Before you attempt to build a tall structure, try to place more blocks on the base of it. Time it right and you can end up filling up the entire structure. Then once you have a good base going, build up by one square, then widen the structure again to match the base. Repeat this as many times as you can for as long as you can.
Once you lose, you often have the option to watch a video to continue. The video requires an internet connection to watch, but once you watch it, you will get a free restart from the last block that you left off at. Even though that makes it easier to get more points, it also makes it tough to get more than one block unless your timing is impeccable.
If you need to make corrections, don’t forget that you can build back down, instead of continuing to build back up or sideways. You might block your viewpoint off from some angles; in that case simply wait for the camera to pan around so that you can see it again.
The bigger that the structure gets, the more room for error that you have, because a bigger and wider structure counterbalances weight, so even if you mess up quite a bit, you won’t topple your structure right away. Also, once you get the height up to 10, the camera pans out and you will get a height of “xx/20”. Every time that you meet the next height limit, the camera will pan out again.
