Grumpy Bears is a new game by Fluik for both iOS and Android. One of Fluik’s most popular games (besides the Office Jerk series) is Plumber’s Crack, and Grumpy Bears takes the same kind of gameplay mechanics that are at work in both of those games and mates it to something of an endless runner type of game. You’re sitting in the back of a delivery truck from the Honey factory, and you use all kinds of various weapons to ward off the endless assault of angry teddy bears who are trying to get at you and steal your honey. Read on for some tips and tricks for Grumpy Bears!
There are plenty of weapons that you can use in the game, and you have to aim them differently in order for them to have the best effect. With rocks and torque wrenches, you should aim them right at the bears. Aim the TNT and molotov cocktails just in front of the bears or right at them, and the blast radius will take care of multiple bears. Aim the grenades and the hay bales so that they land in front of bears, and the bears will run right into them.
Most of the weapons are a bit expensive, aside from the TNT, and they don’t do much to justify their price. However, the defensive weapons are some of the most powerful in the game, and they are the best to use if you want to get as far as possible and get the highest possible score. However, they don’t earn you the same amount of coins per enemy as the regular weapons do, so don’t use them the whole time.
The two best and most cost efficient defense weapons to use for extreme long-distances are the flaming hay bale and the electric fence. The electric fence will deal with every single bear automatically except for trucks and except for the bears that carry crates, since they don’t directly attack your truck. The flaming hay bale will set everything that it touches on fire, which will cause them to fall and die in one shot, even the trucks (even though they take a little bit longer to burn).
When the truck comes around, ignore it and attack the biker bears if they come up along side it to attack you. The truck won’t actually do any damage and take any hearts away from you, but the biker bears will. Get rid of the biker bears first and then get rid of the truck, but be sure to finish the truck off for that 25 coin bonus.
Also, be sure to try to complete the missions as quickly as possible, so that you can level up as quickly as possible. The quicker that you level up, the more bonus coins you earn.
