In Guardian Cross, the new Square Enix card battle game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, there are two types of currency. Guardian Points are the main currency, and they are spent whenever you enhance a guardian by combining it with other guardians. Coins are the premium currency of the game, and can buy premium items as well as tickets to the special hunting ground. Read on to find out how to get more of both of these!
The main way to earn more guardian points is within battles. Each time that you battle either another wild guardian or a person who has guardians, and you win, you will be rewarded with guardian points. Many of the treasure chests that you find during quests will also contain guardian points, so open every chest that you come across, and be sure not to miss out on any.
Another way to get more guardian points faster, though, is to sell some of your guardians that you don’t need. You can always combine them instead, but selling just one common guardian will earn you enough guardian points to allow you to combine SIX guardians with one guardian, so if you are really low on guardian points and you have no action power left, then try selling a guardian or two in order to earn more guardian points.
Coins are the premium currency of the game. Right now, there is no way to get free coins in the game. To buy coins, tap on the “buy” icon next to the Coins counter, and there are many different order packages that you can choose from (which all cost real money). However, unless you really want to get some rare guardians really quickly, this isn’t generally recommended to do, as friend points will buy you almost anything that coins will buy you.
