Angry Gran Run is the latest game in the Angry Gran series, and is one of the most popular endless running games for the iPhone and other iOS devices. In this game you play as the angry gran (or grandma, if you’re American) who as escaped from the Angry Ward, and is on a mission to run as far as possible, bonking chavs, collecting coins and avoiding all sorts of obstacles that appear in your path. Get as far as you can, unlock and collect power ups, and raise your score as high as you can. Read on for some tips and tricks for Angry Gran Run!
Be judicious with what power ups you purchase when you have enough coins for them. The best ones to buy are the ones which enable you to earn more coins, such as the coin multiplier pickup, the coin value doubler, and the one which unlocks the magnet pickup. The multiplier pickup will cause them to pop up randomly, and the magnet pickup will cause magnets (which draw coins to you) to do the same. The coin value adder would cause coins worth double and triple value to begin to appear after a certain amount of meters.
Upgrade that coin value power up further, and it will shorten the distance that you have to run before you can get the more valuable coins. After you get your coin multipliers and other stuff up to speed, then you can start buying other power ups. A good power up to save up for would be unlimited double jumps, which costs 10,000 coins and gives you more room for error, for example if you jump too soon.
To maximize your coin collection, when you come to a coin arch that goes over an obstacle, jump literally as soon as you hit the second or third coin, but don’t double jump. Do it right and you will be able to collect all of the coins in the arch.
