Guide to Ball’s Journey – Tips, Cheats, and Strategies

Ball’s Journey is a new game by Voodoo for the iOS and Android where your goal is to use a cannon to shoot a ball as far as you possibly can. You can buy upgrades for your cannon and shoot your ball to previously unimaginable distances, while collecting coins and using them for even more upgrades, and of course, you can shoot against players all over the world, as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Ball’s Journey by Voodoo!

The key to shooting the ball as far as you can, of course, is to stop the round bar inside of the red area so that the cannon makes a perfect shot and the ball flies as far as possible. Even inside of the red zone, though, the trajectory matters. Higher in the red zone, and the ball flies a little bit higher, but at a lower velocity. Lower in the red zone, and the ball flies faster, but at a slightly lower trajectory.

Outside of that, the three screen taps are the way to get the ball to go farther, and timing your screen taps makes the difference between a longer and a shorter distance. The correct timing for longest distance is when the ball has started to fall for a bit. Watch the angle of the tail of the ball. The steeper the angle, the faster the ball is diving, and the tap stops any dive, so the steeper of a dive that you stop, the better.

When you’re farther into the game with scores of over 10,000 per shot, though, you have to take the terrain into account. For example, you might shorten your final drop so that you can avoid any tall spiky mountains. And try to bounce off of the desert area as if you hit the hill at the right angle, you’ll go flying HIGH into the air and forward, making it easy to set records for your distance.

Bounce isn’t as important as the speed and strength to improve up until you start hitting the 10,000+ mark. Once you’re there, mass-upgrade your bounces, because then you’ll have to use your bounces to propel you even further than you could possibly have gone without having a good bounce.

The world is somewhere around 6,275 feet wide. So once you pass that mark, you’ll have gone all the way around the world. Once you go around the world, your income will get around a 5,000 coin bonus. Pass around the world a second time (around 12,550 feet or so) to get around a 20,000 coin bonus added on top of all that. Then pass around the world a third time on the same shot for another 60,000 or so added to your coin take. Beyond that, if you can shoot around the world four, five, six or whatever times, then you’ll earn gigantic quantities of money.
