City Story Metro is a new game by TeamLava, the makers of the original City Story. In this sequel you build a city loaded with businesses, industry and houses, starting off with a small little burg and working your way up to a loaded metropolis, all the while accommodating all of the weird, crazy characters that move into your little city as it expands. At times the game can certainly slow down a bit, but rectifying that is a very easy process. Read on for some tips and tricks for City Story Metro for the iPhone and iPod Touch!
In City Story Metro, you start off with a full grid of streets in your new city. However, it is completely unnecessary to have that full grid of streets in your city, and they can take up space when you are trying to save room as much as possible to load your city with buildings and (to some degree) decorations.
You only need ONE square of street next to a building, such as a house or a business, in order for it to go active. In fact, you can have one square of street with four small buildings sitting next to it, all active, or three larger buildings sitting next to it. Use your streets wisely.
If you run out of energy or are getting impatient waiting for a job to finish, or for a house to be ready to get collected from, then simply go to your device’s settings and set the time ahead by however much time you need. For recovering all of your energy, about an hour should do. For completing a job or for getting a house ready to be collected from, it could be any amount of time depending on how long the job takes, or which jobs take the longest.
After you set the time ahead, you can set it back if you want, and you will still have all of the energy that you gained, and all of the businesses will have their jobs still show as complete. Houses will go back to their old time count, though, so collect from them before you set the time back.
