Doomsday Preppers is a new reverse tower simulator by G5 Games based around the National Geographic Channel show of the same name. Just like the show, you play as a family who has just realized that the end of the world may or may not be near, so your goal is to build an underground city inside your house to prepare for it and to become self sufficient should the world economy crash and be thrown back into the stone ages. Read on for some tips and tricks!
When you first start off in the game, you won’t need to wait for too long of a time at all in order to complete new underground floors or to finish producing or selling an item out of the stores that you have in the game. However, the more floors you get and the more preppers that you assign to each floor, the longer that it takes. Make it go by faster, then, using the iPhone time cheat.
The way to do that is to go to the settings on your phone and set the time ahead by however many minutes, hours, or minutes and hours that you need to complete a task. When you go back to the game, any rooms that are being built and any products that are being stocked or sold will automatically be finished.
The more rooms that you have, the longer it will take to fill up residential floors, so build more residential floors than you need right away in order to make it easier to fill them, and to fill businesses with the highest-scoring person per business later on. As you get new people, pay attention to their scores and keep reshuffling your employees to make sure the best matches are working with the businesses that they match up with.
Try to keep an even match between the types of businesses (recreation, workshop, security, food and water, or science) that you have on the floor. Build one after the other, and keep their numbers balanced so that it is easy to find employees who are well matched to work all of them.
