Ghost Pop is a new endless ghost-hunting game for the iOS and Android platforms where you quest forward, facing tougher and tougher ghosts and trying to go the farthest distance that you can. You can unlock new characters and flashlights, upgrade your light beam to deal with the stronger ghosts, and beat bosses in the quest for distance records. Read on for some tips and cheats for Ghost Pop!
Spread out the four different flashlight upgrades to buy the least upgrades for the most money, because each successive upgrade of the same type costs more money. Damage, flashlight length, battery life, and critical hit chances are what you can upgrade. Damage and flashlight length are arguably the most important ones, but critical hits are extremely important because a critical hit is an instant kill.
The reason that the critical hits are so effective is because one hit gives a chance for a critical hit, so you can swipe the light left and right to do multiple hits on an enemy, for multiple hit chances. If you hold the flashlight on a ghost their health will continue to drain, but it will still only count as one hit, so the critical hit chances won’t be maximized.
You also earn offline income depending on how much you’ve upgraded everything and how many bosses you have defeated. Buy all of your possible upgrades and try to set a distance record before you go away from the phone for a good amount of time (such as before you go to bed). Do that and you’ll be able to maximize your offline income for purchasing a ton of upgrades.
Or, to earn all of your offline income immediately, use the following cheat. Go to the date and time settings on your phone or other device, and set the time ahead by an hour or two (the maximum amount of time that you can be offline for before the game stops counting offline income). Then go to the game and you’ll get all of your coins. Upgrade and then do it all over again as many times as you like.
Your flashlight is always in danger of overheating if you use it too much, but any time that you pick up a power up, your flashlight will stay fully charged for the entire duration of the power-up. This includes both triple damage and the coin frenzy power-up. Once the power-up bar runs out, the flashlight will go back to having the normal amount of battery life (which is based on your battery life upgrades).
