Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North is the iPhone sequel to the original Kingdoms of Camelot for Facebook. In Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North, you are once again the ruler of your own kingdom, and you start out with one city. Your job is to build up your city and your kingdom, building up your resources and training new troops to increase your might, so that you can invade surrounding lands, defend yourself against attacking Picts and other players who attack you, and maximize your might. It can be a VERY difficult game to get into, and the first seven days are the most crucial aspect of the game. Read on for tips and tricks on how to make the most of your first seven days.
As you start off the game, you have one city placed on a random planet. There are many worlds in this game, and you can have one city in every world if you’d like. Sometimes the game randomly puts you in a world that speaks the wrong language (for example, I got put into a Spanish-speaking world), so you can just go to the “worlds” menu and start a new city in an English world or in a world that speaks whatever language you choose, if you want to have better chat participation and chances of finding a guild to join.
The first seven days are the most important aspect of the game. This is where you can do tons of research, build up your farms, quarries, mines and sawmills, and build up your population, all without the fear of being attacked, because you start the game with seven days of damage protection. If you start a new city on a new world, you get the same benefits. Upgrade all of your resource buildings as much as possible, and fill as many empty spaces in your city as possible with resource buildings. Complete quests, too, to earn tons of resources in rapid succession.
