Make sure to participate in the raid boss battles and the limited edition quests and events to the highest degree possible. The more that you participate in these events, the higher your chances of getting rare cards and other fun rewards, such as premium keys, which allow you to open more premium card packs for free. Do this even if you have to do less questing for awhile in order to do so.
Load up on duplicate cards from the quest mode and evolve every single one of them until they get to their fourth and final form and gain a star. If you do this, then you will have a VERY powerful team for the amount of attack and defense power that they take up, which can easily mislead other players into thinking that they will have an easy time beating you in the battle mode.
To have an easy time in the battle mode, though, you should be able to look at another player’s defensive points and figure out if you have a chance or not, because most players won’t load their whole list of cards with cards that have been evolved into their final forms. If someone has less defense points than you do attack points, then they should be easy to beat, but avoid those who have insanely high amounts of defense points for their level.
This method will also make it much easier to beat bosses. However, there are some bosses that you can battle using only your leader card. Therefore, make sure that your rarest and most powerful card is the one that you set to being your leader, and make sure to use the enhance mode to power up the leader card for battles like this.
