Siege Hero is a new game by Armor Games that fans of Angry Birds will most likely greatly enjoy. It plays very similarly to the Angry Birds Franchise, in that you have to knock down structures made of wood and stone in order to get rid of the soldiers (instead of pigs) that lie underneath. However, instead of launching birds at them with slingshots, you take a first person perspective, and thus you simply tap where on the screen that you want to launch a rock in order to hit part of a building and knock it down. Your goal is to try and hit all of the soldiers using the least amount of rocks that you can. In order to pull that off, in stages where there are multiple structures, topple the highest structure to the side, towards the other structures, and use it in order to knock over the other structures. It matters not just which block of wood you hit, but where you hit the block of wood. Where you should hit depends on the stage, though.
Of course, it is much more self explanatory for some other stages. Look around for anything that you can dislodge, that can roll or fall onto the soldiers and knock them all out at once. Don’t waste rocks if you don’t have to.
There are no one, two or three star scores on each level in this game. Instead, you either earn a crown or you don’t earn a crown, depending on how high your score is and on how many rocks you use. You don’t have to use only one rock on every stage in order to get the crown – you just have to use the lowest amount of rocks possible.
