Sketchman is an infinite running game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch with some shooting elements thrown in for extra fun. In Sketchman the goal is the same as it is in most other infinite running games – run as far as you can and collect as many coins as you can in the time given. However, you also have a collection of guns which you can use to shoot obstacles and enemy characters who shoot at you, slice you with swords and try to get in your way. You even have some boss characters that you can fight. Read on for some tips and tricks for Sketchman!
To get coins as fast as possible, make all of the rounds you play about beating all three of the given missions. To see what the missions are, simply pause the game in the middle of playing. The missions can include things such as running a certain distance in one round, or picking up a certain number of coins in one round.
Another way to get coins quickly is simply to speed through and collect all of the coins you can, and then when more obstacles start appearing later in the stage, pause the game and restart the round. When you do this, you still keep all of the coins during the incomplete round that you just played.
To make it easier to beat the boss that appears around 800m, go to the store and buy bullet upgrades. Then, save them until you get to the boss. Use them then, and then start jumping over and over, firing two shots at him for every jump you do. Also, buy armor upgrades so that you don’t die when he shoots you.
Even better, buy coin upgrades, such as the coin magnet and 2X coins, and use them over and over to maximize the coins that you get on each stage, in order to save up for a better gun. Get the better gun, and then use that to take on the boss.
